Sea at Book of Yum is hosting a fun “Adopt a Gluten Free Blogger” event during the month of February. Each participant (like me!) chooses a gluten free blogger to adopt. We then pick one of the blogger’s recipes to make, make the recipe, and post about it with photos.

I adopted Gabby’s Gluten Free for this event. From Gabby’s blog, I chose to make her Paleo Banana Almond Muffins. Gabby is a 24 year old food blogger who loves gluten free cooking, Crossfit, and everything to do with fitness. She is married to a chef and also has a crazy dog. You can check out the rest of her recipes and read more about her on her blog.

They were delicious! My kids could barely let them cool down before they each ate one and immediately asked for a second. I really like that these muffins have no added sugar. They are also grain free and dairy free. They have just a mild sweetness from the banana and a great flavor from the cinnamon. We chose to use the snowman muffin cups as a shout out to our friends on the east coast who are currently covered in snow. There’s not a flake of snow in sight here in Los Angeles! Sending you all sunny, warm thoughts.
